Features & Fixes Details
New Background Process to sync dates between OpsAdmin and ECI
OpsAdmin can now sync enrollment dates with ECI MiniSQL database data. The process works as follows:
-
Only accounts that have an Accepted or Dropped status in OpsAdmin are involved in this process. Other statuses are considered temporary in the account’s lifecycle.
-
The ECI tables used as source as MeterStatus and and CurrentRateContract.
-
OpsAdmin Contract Start Date is updated with CurrentRateContract’s RateEffectiveDate value.
-
OpsAdmin Contract End Date is updated with CurrentRateContract’s ContractExpirationDate value.
-
OpsAdmin Service End Date is updated with MeterStatus’s MeterServiceEndDate value.
Rate Threshold by Commodity
To avoid enrolling customers on the wrong rate, OpsAdmin now has a validation that prevents users from creating plans with inaccurate rates. Six new fields under Commodities Types indicate the low and high thresholds for rates, monthly fee and cancellation fee. These thresholds apply to fixed and variable rates.
The thresholds can be left empty to only validate higher or lower limits.
When creating/editing a plan (Plans Manager or Global Price Changes), the system will warn the user if the entered value in one of the affected fields exceeds the threshold previously set.
